The New Strategy of Obama about Afghanistan Barack Hussain Obama announces his new strategy about Afghanistan on the date of 1 December 2009 and that is following as: 1. Problems of Afghanistan must solve by and with the help and with the counsel of Afghanistan’s neighborhood countries especially Pakistan. 2. Approximately 34000 American soldiers will be sent to Afghanistan till the year of 2011. 3. After 18 months US will take a decision about exit of US soldiers in Afghanistan. 4. They give a plan to handle the warrior of Afghanistan by army and police of Afghanistan by their own power. And they increase the army of Afghanistan. 5. Government of Hamid Karzai has to show in this future six months that this government is in the favor of people of Afghanistan has to show that he is partner with US and against Terrorist and also he has to give a clean government 6. US will increase its economical help and fund to Afghanistan. 7. If Hamid Karzai won’t control the government of Afghanistan in this future six months then US and United Nation will give their economical help and fund directly to provinces of Afghanistan. As a Refugee and as a political and historical writer of Afghanistan I am giving my opinion and view about this new strategy of Obama in these following points: First: It is not known that whether Obama is telling truth and will he repair Afghanistan by his new strategy? And it will be known in the future. Second: Afghanistan is a mountainous country and the four sight of Afghanistan are gird dryness (no via sea) and Afghanistan is neighbor with Pakistan in 2000 km and also Afghanistan is neighbor with Iran, China and Middle Asia. Line of Durand is present between the border of Pakistan and Afghanistan and within these 31 years warrior of Afghanistan Pakistan accepts all refugees of Afghanistan and Pakistan have to become partner with Afghanistan and they must take a date of meeting about peace of Afghanistan and therefore Afghanistan must take counsel from Pakistan about the situation of Afghanistan and without advise and counsel of Pakistan Afghanistan won’t repair. And Afghanistan must take counsel from Iran also because still 2 million refugees of Afghanistan are present in Iran and 2 and half million of them are refugee in Pakistan and still these refugees are citizens of Afghanistan but unfortunately votes (Presidential Election of 2009 of Afghanistan) of these refugee people doesn’t have role in front of government of Afghanistan and United Nation is responsible for this point. Third: Whether by announcement of 34000 US soldiers and total of them are 1 hundred thousand and will these US soldiers solve the problem of Al-Qaida and Bin Laden from Afghanistan? And will these US soldiers defeat those groups who are against of government of Afghanistan by new strategy of Obama? Personally I don’t have belief in this matter because within these eight years Hamid Karzai didn’t do anything for people of Afghanistan and all people of Afghanistan and whole world knows this point. And it is very interesting that whether Taliban become ready to make a meeting with government of Karzai? but in my opinion Taliban won’t to become ready to make a meeting with government of Karzai. In my opinion a peaceful committee must invent and in this committee some people must participate from United Nation and those people must participate who didn’t fight within these 31 years from government of Afghanistan and also some people must participate from side of Taliban and some people must participate from refugees of Afghanistan in Pakistan and Iran and one person must participate from party of Gulbudin Hekmatyar. This committee must invent inside Afghanistan near the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan because of Taliban that they belief in this Committee and for this committee first of all firing has to stop and discussion must start for peace. Fourth: In my opinion by announcement of taking a decision about the exit of US soldiers from Afghanistan after 18 months is like a political trick and that is following as: 1. Whether Taliban will wait till 18 months or they continue their fighting and war? 2. Whether till 18 months Afghan soldiers will defense from Afghanistan by their own power? 3. Whether by announcement of peace of Afghanistan Common Taliban will follow the government of Karzai? 4. Whether by new strategy of Obama those Taliban who are not real Taliban but they are against of Ideology of US whether they wait till 18 months? 5. Obama said peace but he increase the soldiers in Afghanistan (he give a dialogue and it is like that sword is present in his hand and peace is present in his tongue). Obama start his new strategy from inventing of new jail near the Airport of Bagram and he will close the jail of (Gowantanama) but jail of Pulcharkhi is present then why new jail invents and whether by this new strategy of Obama Taliban become ready for discussion? In my opinion people who want peace are getting bore in war and they want peace. George. W. Bush said on the year of 2001that he will bring Democracy in Afghanistan and also he said: “World War II took 4 years but this war against Terrorism will took more than 5 years” and now eight years have passed and this war is still continuing but now Obama announce his new strategy and he said: “We will bring peace in Afghanistan and we will not put the responsibility of peace of Afghanistan to other future president of US” Whether Obama will make a miracle in Afghanistan? Fifth: Obama said in his new strategy that he will increase 4 hundred thousand Afghan soldiers, in my opinion if these 4 hundred thousand soldiers don’t have information about the Military culture and it is useless if these 4 hundred thousand soldiers are not in the favor of Afghanistan and not know Human Rights. And if in this situation US soldiers and United Nation come out from Afghanistan then the situation of Afghanistan will be turn into the situation and warrior of year of 1992 but if US are afraid that they will become like Russia then this is a separate discussion. Sixth: US give a date of 6 months to Hamid Karzai and I must say that if within these eight years Hamid Karzai couldn’t do anything then whether he can do a miracle in next six months? Seventh: If United Nation and US give economical help and fund directly to provinces of Afghanistan then a new problem start in Afghanistan because social and political society is present and groups of Nationality, Tribal and (Khan Khani) is present in Afghanistan, and if some people thinks that in Afghanistan Federal government have to made then now in this situation it is wrong. People of Afghanistan are getting bore and tire in warrior and now they want PEACE. Peace will not come through the way of War. |
