Ancestor of Charas and Heroin.
Like Opium, Charas have also an ancient antecedent. And also like opium, seeds of Charas entered from other countries. Mostly plant of Hempseed was cultivated in Iran and therefore seeds of Hempseed were export to Afghanistan from the side of border of Iran and from the countries of Middle Asia. On those countries Hempseed was used in the factories of soap. In Afghanistan Charas become populated within a period of age. In the first younger people of villages become addict to Charas and afterward younger people of cities.Gradually cultivation of Charas becomes famous in Kabul. From seeds of Bang-Henbane and from sap of Charas some cookers of bakeries made a special sweet in the name of "Mufarha". Forty years before in Afghanistan door of borders was opened for tourists to visit in Afghanistan and those tourists buy Charas and "Mufarha" in a very low price. When tourists were come in Afghanistan by visa from the border of "Islam Qila" (it is the border between Iran and Afghanistan). And from Herat those tourists were gone everywhere and in every area they were gone and buy Charas, Bang-Henbane, and Mufarha in a very low price. Charas sent to other countries through contraband. And today Charas have a good production for the Mafia and for some farmers of Afghanistan (those who cultivate opium and Charas and those farmers who have lots of money and high agricultural ground and also they have weapons for the war). Charas have a good market in Afghanistan.At last it can be says that Heroin have not antecedent in Afghanistan. Some Afghan emigrate which were came from other countries, like European, American and Neighborhood countries and other countries, they were addict to Heroin so they cant live without Heroin therefore they bring the way of smoking Heroin with them in Afghanistan.Radio in the voice of America "Radio Ashna, in the Pashto programmed of this radio broadcasted in the morning date of 14/08/2007: (One million people those who are addict to Heroin and Opium registered in Afghanistan, some of these people give a free and medical treatment in the charitable hospital.
