60 feared dead in suicide attack on Afghan Jirga.

Peshawar:APRIL 29: At least 60 persons feared dead as a suicide bomb tore through a tribal Jirga in the eastern province of Nangarhar. The officials of local administration including the district officer included among the dead.

The Taliban movement said one of its men carried out the attack in the small town of Khogyani in Nangarhar.

Several policemen and other officials were killed in the attack.

According to eyewitnesses 60 persons were killed in the attack. The officials however not yet confirmed the death toll.
