The Gurgaon Police is the first police force in India


Chandigarh, April 18 - The Gurgaon Police is the first police force in the northern India to get ISO 9001:2000 certificate and to start “Turant 24” Yojna to immediately solve the cases, strengthen law and order and infuse a sense of security among people. It has also started Women and Senior Citizen Helpline and made arrangements for PCR and Rider with separate staff besides giving training about cyber crime to the police officials . He said that Gurgaon Police has started a new website spggm@dataone.in on which any person could lodge their suggestions and complaints. He said that five new helplines have been started exclusively for the help of women whose number is 2300100. A helpline for the aged people has also been started whose number is 2302100. He said that a new scheme “Turant 24” has been started for common people which is available round the clock and efforts would be made to solve the case within 24 hours.
